I get sore on the ridges of my ears when wearing circumaural phones. Looking for a source of thin foam sheets to place on the cups at the points of contact.

Hi, new here.  I also have this problem and am looking for a solution.  From reading on this forum, I've seen that possibly adding some cushion or foam to the cans can help.

Many fabric stores, especially those that carry upholstery fabrics, will have foam sheets in differing levels of softness and different thickness.

Any idea what type of foam works best? I'm also looking to buy new foam and I do not want to buy the whole ear pad set just to get two small cheap foam circles.
