Soundcard to AMP/DAC any difference?

  I'm currently connecting it to my pc via USB. And yes, motherboard drivers are all up to date!

 
Maybe try connecting using optical, to the motherboard, see if the on-board audio's virtual headphone surround sound is any good?

I'll give it a try, once my optical cable arrives if that's no good, I'll give the Razer software a go...

God damnit... It might be an even longer while until I buy a soundcard, just found out that the modmic (with shipping and taxes) costs more than 100$, and it's already been dispatched so I can't cancel my order :/
