Sound worse after burn in

I just want to give a possible solution to this matter.

1) Are you try factory reset or at least reboot?
2) Is the condition that you listen to music same? Cold/Hot weather Good or bad mood?

Number 2) does happen to a lot of people who believe in burn-in and want to "RUSH" everything could pass the "burn-in" period faster and faster and then expect sound for a better in no time. But when it doesn't come up with his/her expectation, that makes him/her frustrated and thus resulting in distorted perception in sound.

It doesn't mean I do not trust what you heard but I just want to ensure your case does not belong to number 2)

By the way, if I were you, I will return DAP if warranty still covers and get a new one because running electronic stuffs more than 24 hr long is not a good idea. some parts can be overloaded especially power supply module. Start with new one over again this time with more patience in gradually enjoy music day by day. If the burn-in period breaks out, it will result in someday. This will not hurting hardware inside DAP as well.
