Sound Science thread for songs you can't get out of your head

Walking on Fire is my favourite of theirs. Probably my most played album this past month.
That album is brilliant. I was lucky enough to get the special edition CD before it sold out, which comes with an extra CD/DVD combo of the Velvet Theatre 2019 live session. This also covers another song I can't get out of my head (either live Velvet Theatre version, or album version on Walking on Fire):

GLIM SPANKY - 「ストーリーの先に」(from the Walking of Fire album)

GLIM SPANKY - 「ストーリーの先に」(“Velvet Theater 2019”より) (live version)

This was seriously stuck in my head some time ago. I managed to unstuck it after many failed attempts.

Also the theme and lyrics fit beautifully into the sound science forum I think :)

"Look at me still talking when there's Science to do. When I look out there it makes me GLaD I'm not you.."

I've got a lot of blu-rays that I feel just awesome for live performance. Good production value when it comes to videography, and also mixing for surround. Have great classical, rock, blues, etc. This track really sounds great in its original DTS-HD 5.1 track: use of subwoofer, and you hear excitement of crowd in surround channels. Saw the band once for New Years at Atlanta Fox Theatre: was a trip

R.I.P. Sergio Mendes

the refrain... once you heared it....
long time since i heared this one

i kinda noticed a tendency with earworm songs that the volume of the song seems to jump around rythmically, kind of reminding me of "isochronic tones"

maybe this brainwave interaction is reminding us of certain songs when our brain runs on a certain "wave" OR gets our brain into a certain groove/wave once we think about lyrics etc

This was my day. I blame myself for putting it on repeat for my daughter.
(Of course, my evening is "We are the doctors, the flying doctors, and we're going to fly to you...")

Some 20 years ago we found ourselves on a bus in Malta going at speed whilst dodging the pot-holes in the road. One of these:

With everyone holding on for dear life, we were all treated to the bus drivers' favourite songs played over the PA system at full volume. This song in particular has been stuck in my head ever since. I think it may be PTSD.

Unusual and interesting transformation from virtuoso instrumentalist to singer songwriter:
[Edit: for who missed it: she played the bass in the Herbie Hancock video in the previous post.]

This one has been stuck in my head since I first heard it 28 August; in particular the vocal parts and especially the vocals from 2:34 onwards keeps popping up in my head:
