With the help of this red little pin tool I've managed to fix socket issue. But I can't guarantee that it will work for someone else.
I just loosened the connector myself a little bit with a 2pin cable connector, now everything is inserted well :)

SR05 MOD.jpg

I couldn’t listen anymore - it’s very bright, so I made a modification: half of the foam(like a 7Hz) for the midrange and the whole for the high-frequency + filter mesh 400dp

Now sounds MUCH better :)

It was bordering on too bright with full open mouth tips so I put on some Azla SednaEarfit Xelastics and it's perfect now.

Hi, I'm so close to order the SR5 at Peon Audio... better than Gaea it's quite a statement. I'm not so sure about the bass and sub bass... can someone tell if it's present or just another neutral crystal clear IEM?

The SR5 is very bassy and also has a strong sub-bass. It is definitely more bassy then harman-tuned IEMs.

I just found the treble on the Gaea to be very "wonkie", not natural at all.

Did some A/B-Testing with my SR5 and the TSMR Sands. I used my Qudelix 5K as the source playing bitperfect Tidal music. The SR5 won easily in every category. The Sands was a little brighter and clearer sounding and sometimes had a bit better detail but the SR5 sounded super enjoyable. Simply unbelievable. I run my SR5 with a ISN S16 4.4mm cable (used an 4.4mm to 3.5mm adapter on my Qudelix) and i had SpinFit tips on. The SR5 has incredible smooth treble and a wonderful note weight. How good is the DTE500 gonna be?

Many thanks for this further confirmation. I have Qudelix 5K too and I use ddHiFi DJ44B plugged to 2.5mm BAL to get a 4.4mm BAL output.
I'm a noob, but seems strange to me that you're using a 3.5mm SE adapter to get 4.4mm BAL... not recommended as far as I know, but again I'm not so experienced.

Converting a 4.4mm cable to 3.5mm is completely fine however not the other way around.

ddHifi adapter sound good and add a little bit more impedance.

Been spending this Sunday afternoon going through my reference playlist on the SR5. I am so utterly impressed with this set. Bass is very textured and detailed. Kids lush and full. Treble detailed, revealing and sweet. If someone told me beforehand that these were a $4K set I would have believed them....

To a certain degree I am convinced that the DTE500 is going to sound as good as an Empire Ears Odin. Maybe it is wishful thinking.
I just received DHL Express tracking info from Penon, let’s see how Empire Ears’s EST tech would compete against Moondrop / ThieAudio / Unique Melody’s EST in terms of performance.

Depending on how the treble sounds, I may have to attach a copper cable to tame the highs as I found the GAEA treble very fatiguing. If not, I'll do the foam mod and hope it does it. Mines arrives Tuesday and I look forward to it.
