Hello guys. I'm wondering if there is a significant sound quality difference between iCan Nano and iCan Micro.
Which one sounds better to you?
iFi Audio is not providing full spec info for iCan Nano.
Also, can iCan Micro run without a power cable? I don't think it's battery powered.
and what kind of DAC chip are they using???

Well, I will say the difference in SQ is significant enough, and no doubt the micro is better sounding than the nano.
 
Yes, you are right, iCAN micro is a desktop amp, no battery inside. But someone has managed to strap a 9V battery pack (for portable DVD player) to it and made it portable, though they are truly 'brick' size setup.
 
There is no DAC inside either one of them. They are pure amp.
