I've got the MK2bt and the 3s and there is definitely a major difference. First thing you notice is the much larger soundstage & more pronounced vocals in the mids.
I also find them sounding a bit thinner than the XBA3s, which makes some tracks a little too sparkly - even more so than the xba !
I think I am too used to IEMs that when I first bought the Mk2 I wasn't too impressed. However, after about two months they are growing on me and I am using it a lot more at home, it's better for live concerts and shows. Most reviews say that they lack low end (sub) bass but I find it sufficient, plus you can always EQ it.
I think it'd be a nice addition and should complement the xba3s. Plus you wouldn't want the signature to be too similar!
