Sorry - forgot to specify that, obviously I mean the H1. They're 77 pounds on Amazon UK, which is around €100 (the standard price).

get gr07 mk2 or fidelio s2 both just marginally pricier.

I have the GR07 and S1, but I don't see what that has to do with this - pretty different earphones.

really??

ppl say s2 is same like gr07 mk2 with wider soundstage and no sibilance!!

maybe s1 is not up there with them

I was considering the GR07 Bass Edition or the Sony 7550. I was leaning more toward the Sony 7550 though but the cable was annoying me. Now they released the XBA-H3, I am hoping to get something similar to the Sony 7550 but with better cable and slightly better sound.

In ranking:

1.Sony XBA-H3.
2.Sony 7550.
3.VSonic GR07 Bass Edition.
4.Sony XB90EX.

The 7550 are much more balanced than phones like xb90 and probably the gr07 bass. I am seriously considering the H3... but have you heard all on that list?

I went ahead and bought the H3 the other day, first impressions are pretty damn good. There's more clarity/detail in the music, treble extension is just right, I wan't a fan of the XB3 treble. The lows are surprisingly good, compared to the XB90 the very low frequency isn't as loud but I knew it wouldn't be since the 90's are part of the Extra bass series.

I've only used them for about an hour and so far I really like them, I connected these up to my Xperia Z first and then I tried them with the Digizoid Z02 and noticed the bass extension was better/louder, definitely capable of providing a lot of bass without distortion.

I'll write a proper review once I've used them for a bit, wonder if burning them in will change anything.
