Nope,unfortunately its a reality man![]()
And I thought you meant "having an H3." So which is it that you didn't like the gr07 or the b3? I can't stand sibilance.

What are some high quality cable options for H3? I'm hoping to change the horrendous stock cable (the ear hooks are the problem otherwise the cable is nice) on A3. Any suggestions?

I'm using this modified cable: http://www.null-audio.com/collections/iem-headphone-cable/products/vitesse-black-edition-cryo-7n-cgocc-a-copper-earphone-cable, very good synergy with H3.

I have the A3 and Z5 and wondering what will the H3 give me that these cant? I really like the V Shape on the A3 and the wide mids on the Z5 and ofcourse the pounding bass.

The A3 is the direct successor of the H3 I think.
The Z5 is the next model up, the new TOTL.
Theoretically either should be better than the H3, but I already like the H3 a lot. The first Sony I have liked for a long time to my immense surprise.
I think the trickiest part about getting the H3 to sound its' best is the damping of the very huge (by IEM standards) 16 mm dynamic driver in it. Most standalone audiophile DAPs just lack the extra power to properly dampen the vibrations of the big driver, hence, resulting in a slightly boomy sound. For me, adding an external amplifier to my X5 significantly improves overall clarity and bass texture of the H3. I find that it performs exceptionally well with most pop / electronic music (probably what it was intended for, I think), but not so well for acoustic music due to the overall warmer timbre / tonality which makes this genre sound unnatural. That being said, whether one would be willing to carry a DAP + external amp combo on the go for the best sonic performance, is another question.
For me, the main reason I'm still keeping the H3 with me is because of the overall smooth, fun sound, clear but non-fatiguing treble, and its enveloping and entertaining sound stage (which makes them sound much more spacious than most IEMs and even some on/over-ears).
