I can't make up my mind between XM3 and QC35, I need a pair of NC HP so bad. Could someone give me some advice? Thanks!

The bass heavy and dark signature of the Sony can be corrected if you have a software player with EQ. Once this is done, it will sound better than the Bose over wireless thanks to LDAC.
Correction: if you have an iPhone and AAC encoded music then I believe the Bose can be sent these without any recompression, which is very nice. I don't have an iPhone though :/

These don't seem to be readily stock at a Best Buy near me. Even online, websites show expected delivery date a bit beyond their usual shipping time. Seems it's limited stock currently, distributed with small quantities.

I can't find a store I can get it farely quickly.

The QC35 is long-overdue for an update. I wonder what Bose's answer will be to the XM2 and XM3. Might wait a little longer before upgrading my XM2. Since I only use NC headphones every once in a while I am not in a rush. QC45 must be something special otherwise they can pretty much shut the business.

Buy both and return the one least liked.

As best I can tell...

Outer Pads:
Width: 3.25 in
Height: 4.25 in

Inner Pads:
Width: 1.5 in
Height: 2.5 in
Depth: Around 1 in, though it varies across the surface of the pad
Thanks for taking the time, much appreciated!
