Well, I just got these in today. So far...pretty excellent all around. I found I have to really do the right twist to get the large tips to actually get all the way in my ear/get a proper seal. It's a little more fussy than the XM3s. I feel like if the tips were just a smidge larger, it wouldn't be an issue. Feature wise they are really easy to use. I always struggled with the touch controls on the XM3 due to their weird shape. It is really nice having so much touch area on these.

There seem to be some degradation when using EQ.
switching between ‘off’ and a custom EQ that does nothing I hear a clear difference. It just sounds more congested.
I now use a silicone tip (epro EP01) to get better treble and leave the EQ off.
anyone else hear this?
Welcome to the EP01 club

Short of using duct tape and a hammer I can’t keep any iems in my ears. (Tried all tips)

are there any wing tips for these? (similar to the Bose “stay hear” ear wing type tips? Those stay in my ear)

my wired iems are custom fit

thanks

Not sure if you've already covered this, but I'm curious how you'd rate the SQ of the Nobles against the XM4s. Obviously they're different signatures overall, but how does the bass quality and imaging compare in particular?
NFP bass hits harder (midbass) xm4 has better bass quality, clean texture, and depth (sub bass). The NFP is brighter in the treble so it feels to have a slightly more open staging. I use epro tips on both. TWS tips on NFP, and EP01 on xm4. I prefer the warmer/smoother xm4, and with with the epro tips I get enough treble detail for me to me happy. Listened to BiG KRIT bass lines, and Beethoven on piano.

Anyone use it with jvc spiral dot XL? Can fit into case?
Sprial dot height is about the same on medium, large, etc. Case is deep enough to fit Large without issue, so Xlarge shouldn't be a problem

The case of the XM4 is soooo much better - can't believe how much I had tolerated the size of the XM3 case!

What tips are you using with the XM4s? I am really liking the XM3 tips with the XM4, but probably will try the epro horn at some point.

Yes, all sizes fit the case without any problem.
So little I liked the sound with the original tips, so much I like it with the Spiral Dot++.

+1 here. Changing to normal Spiral Dots worked wonders. Now the XM4 sound more energetic with slightly deeper bass and brighter trebles. It’s closer to the sound signature that I like on other Sony IEMs. Soundstage also opened up a little, but I guess that’s due to the treble boost. ANC suffers a bit, but the increase in sound quality more than makes up for it. Best of all, they wear more comfortable, too.

I like them a lot better now.

Can’t remember what they are, I have so many, they were just what were on my Blon Mini (and what is on the M2) but I use Final Audio E tips when I find them in my clutter (what I have on the Z1R)

Like several here I was initially disappointed with these. Because I'm dumb I hadn't used the 'Determines optimal earbud tips' option in the Headphones menu, and then I didn't know how to use it beyond comparing and learning that the large tips were better than medium for me, which was obvious anyway. But faffing about eventually I found some tips that resulted in ticks appearing on screen, and in a sudden total transformation of the sound. Probably everyone who's disappointed has been making a judgment following this procedure and getting a perfect seal, but just in case... And fyi, it was Spinfit XLs that did it for me.
