I looked on Amazon & they are on pre order with delivery on the 16th June. I thought they would be here Friday if pre ordered.
That’s changed since yesterday then. John Lewis may have some in store if you are allowed safely out.

That's what I'm seeing too ... shows release date 11th June (tomorrow) but estimated delivery as the 16th ... wonder if they ship from mainland Europe and get lost in the Brexit black hole that is UK customs?

Currys show them as releasing 12th (Saturday) and can be delivered that day!

I plan to pull the trigger tomorrow based on the earliest predicted delivery ... looking like Currys!

Looks like the black ones are out of stock on Amazon that seems to be the more popular choice. I got mine the next day, order right after the release announcement. They are quick to stock though. At least I know mine are not a returned set

Yea US did not say anything just Out Of Stock but some have them today.

UK said Released 11th June and I pre-ordered and it said 16th June but knew that was BS.

Amazon is 30days for returns.

The app setting just makes sure it connects as LDAC instead of SBC or AAC. Android will make it always default to LDAC adaptive. If you want to set it to 990kbs, you have to do it in developer settings every time you connect them, at least that's the way it is on my OnePlus 7 Pro. Fairly certain this is an Android limitation.

My bluetooth dac/amps are the same way.

Even when you switch it in the app the setting still show 'best effort'
TBH I cannot remember from when I has the over ear WH-1000XM3's, I will see Fri/Sat for these.

It may have been PowerAmp did it for for me each time I opened it but that is not going to help with likes of Amazon Music HD if it does not lock to 24/96.

I can test LDAC right now using my Fiio LCBT2 on Android phone and Nvidia Shield, I re-subbed to Amazon Music HD last night and Wired I can listen to Alice Cooper at 24/192 on my PC/Phone/Shield.

EDIT: I tell a lie I think Amazon may be locked to 48 on phone/will test later with BT/LDAC and Wired.
