Lol I thought (but I already updated sorry) about it but im more interested in comparing to my SR15 with both updated and if i don't like it i will roll over to the Chinese firmware and side load Tidal with APK Pure. Will let you know how my 64 audio A12t go on stock cable in 3.5mm outlet then again in the next week or two when my effect Audio Leonidas II on the 4.4mm balanced, get back from Australia.

Ughhhh, LMAO....at first I was slightly amused, but I'm getting more annoyed that for whatever reason, I cannot side-grade from international v. 3.00.07 to Chinese firmware version. I have tried everything I can think of, including doing a full reset before attempting update. I almost know @Sonywalkmanuser 's tweak guide by heart now, LOL.

I will be getting my Asia Pacific NW-ZX507 in a week or so. I am going to be using it with my Shure KSE1200 electrostatic earphones, which require a separate energizer (called the KSA1200) to power.

Seeing that the NW-ZX507 + KSA1200 stack will be quite bulky, I would like to place them in a custom holster attached to my belt and forget about them during my commute. I will be playing downloaded 24-bit tracks from Amazon Music Unlimited HD on the NW-ZX507.

To be able to leave the stack in place, I will need to be able to control the NW-ZX507 remotely from my android smartphone to browse and change tracks. Bluetooth does not seem to be an option, but wifi direct might be the key. However, I have yet to find a solution that does not require root access to the android devices.

Does anyone have an elegant solution to my problem?

have you figured out optimal settings yet? mine sounds differs wildly from the Sony music app to Amazon HD music with no tweaks to date

The NW-ZX507 is a awesome DAP and I'd heartily recommend it to anyone looking for a well built unit with good power output and great sound quality. Remote control, no, there's simply no provisions for doing so. HiBy R6 Pro or something similar come to mind.

I must say the sound of this player following the new update is the best sounding to date.
DSEE HX Ultimate in the music player settings still has DSEE HX, is this correct?

I just got home and I already can 100% confirm that my international model is very very different from my Japan here how it looks like.

Behind box there is no letters to identify the region, there is a sticker on barcode saying international!

2 the back of my zx507 is not plain rubber like the japan it has an idea plate for current information.

3 does not come WITH SONY DUST PLUGS

4 need to turn it on and try the sound haha.
