For me, it’s end game. I’ve finally hit the right mix of musicality, dynamics, comfort, and technicality… all within the constraints of portability, ease of use, beauty, prestige, and battery life.
Well put…

This is with the M15 module on the Volur IEMs and Eletech Baroque ear tips. On the Z1M2, I’m running a slight EQ, DSEE On, Type A Standard DC Phase Linearizer, and Vinyl Processor Standard. Also using a Swissbit MicroSD, FW 1.08 and Japanese langauge option as recommended by the board.

Waiting on my Eletech balanced cable to come in. Using the stock 64Audio 3.5mm at the moment.

Very happy! For reference, I listed to modern metal, EDM, and hip hop. Quality high-res FLACs.
Did you immediately notice sound changes on your Z1M2 upon switching over to Japanese language?

Also what’s your take on the swissbit? Did it make a noticeable difference to the sound?

been a time ! been waiting for a proper comparison between fw1.08 on 1am2 and on 1zm2 ..maybe it's coming .. :)

I hear you , and agree : you can listen via bluetooth only so much , and hardly adapt on what's missing ( as last details/nuances/shift in tones and balance among tracks , more in general : it sounds flatter in its deployments then what a decent wired set does ) , then you will eventually search for that other missing part and sound
I think both AM2 n ZM2 will be diff.. ZM2 will not be as fast as AM2...

Hi there. I have a question. I'm looking at importing to the UK the grey version from Japan which I believe is the only uncapped region? Is there an easy way to change the language of the player from Japanese to English?
Language can be change when u setup the unit... same as you would when u brought a new Android phone.

yes, I really enjoy the Micron too. At that time I compared them with the DX300 and 320 with some commercially available cards and the Micron was my personal number 1. So far I have only heard the Micron on the AM2 and I am satisfied. That's why I'm interested in the comparison with Swissbit. But I think for the money the Micron isn't a bad buy.
Previously on my DX300, Edge is my preference over Micron....

Swissbit came in the mail at the same time as the Z1M2. I loaded it right away - no basis to compare. Jumped straight to the good stuff :)

Wow that’s a massive blind leap of faith. Anyways all that really matters is that you are on the right track in getting the most sound quality and thereby better music enjoyment out of your equipment.

AGI 2TB Micro-SDXC works like a charm on both 1Z and 1ZM2:L3000:
