Yes, it is actually clear that both are made in China. I also meant that the 707 is capped in Europe, Singapore and the USA / Canada. Uncapped for example in Vietnam, Japan, Malaysia and others.
The ZX700 Series is not sold in Europe afair.

At least it was not sold in the shops I checked including Germany

I charge it with a 5v 2A Samsung charger, not from a computer. Can you confirm that it is suitable?
I read many previous pages but could not find this information.

If it charges, it charges
Yes, it is charging. I am afraid that it will damage the battery in the long run. Thanks for the answer.

By the way, the battery drains very quickly when using a wireless connection. The 25% battery lasted for about 1 hour on first use.

My advice is to buy a good charger. I use Anker 20 watts. Then first the charging limit when switching on AM 2. And when it is discharged to 20%, charge it again up to the charging limit. The battery needs a few charging cycles to be calibrated.

Absolutely not. This charger is relatively weak, so you're rather doing the opposite.

If you enable the Battery Safer thing in the settings that blocks the Walkman from charging above ~87%, you can also leave it plugged in if you want.

The battery usage depends on a lot of factors.

If you enabled Hi-Res Audio Streaming or any digital effects like DSD Remastering, DSEE and so on, you drastically decrease the battery life. If you use another app than the Walkman App, you will also decrease the battery life a lot. If you use Wireless, the battery usage is highger, but not that much.

So it depends more on the settings than on Wirelss. The WiFi Chips plays a role, but its not drastic
