Is it worth it to add an external amp to the wm1zm2 to drive some harder to drive headphones and iem?

For driving hard to drive headphones is has worth has adding a amp to any other Dap, but if the amp of the 1zm2 is enough to drive what you have i think is not worth.
will sound diferent from the sony house sound (wich i love)because nrs dont say much , are just nrs , and who thinks that that the amp on Sony is weak, sure never heard it, on paper they are weak, listening , the sound has density low distortion, great bass slam ,very lush and musical, in resume if you dont have very hard to drive headphones , save your money

Walkman music app does not add the external drive files to its music database.

You can use neutron or uapp. It will work.

I have the nw1ma2 and sometimes ill my chord Hugo to it for some of my hard planars.

My journey into the 1AM2 continues. The bass is better handled than on the 1A, warmer without losing details elsewhere in the frequency range.

Also, for those wondering how a ZX307 looks like stacked on a 1A stacked on a 1AM2, here’s a picture showing just that.

Are all the pwaudio ground pin 4.4? Notice it doesn't give a selection of 3.5. Is it a must half for those that have it?

Ive noticed when using the 1zm2 as a source, with usb output to an external dac, that only the walkman app works, none of the streaming apps like Qobuz etc. Is there a setting somewhere to fix this? Streaming apps to the same dac via usb works fine with an iphone & ipad

I think this is an Android thing. Use UAPP or neutron player. I think Apple Music also can use usb dac on android but I’m not 100% sure
