Oh yeah, i forgot to mention. You have to add another ~1200€ for the plain ticket^^I wish I could take the time, I wanted to go to HK instead to buy it but tickets prices there are still very high.

Yes, just an amp you can feed with 3,5 or 4,4mmI don't know that device. Is this just an Amp? Without an DAC?
Then it depends on what connections this device gives you. The Walkman, in the and, outputs an analog signal. You can just push that into any other device if your choise. Also you can use USB to connect it to everything that has an DAC to send the Data digitally.
The reason to buy a Walkman is because you want the Full Digital Amp. If you don't use it, you kinda loose the purpose of the whole device
Then just connect the two 4.4mm and there you go^^ afair best case was 120/120 low gain, but feel free to experiment even with High Gain.Yes, just an amp you can feed with 3,5 or 4,4mm
The Walkman is not powerfull enough to damage it with 250mW at 16 Ohm (2 Vrms), so even 120/120 High Gain should be no issue.
Get a preowned one from head-fi. You will find lot of good deals and genuine Walkman at good price from experienced audiophiles if you are ok with pre loved gears.

Yes you can use C9 with it. C9 has to be used as Pre-amp as there is no LO on Sony Walkman Players. I use it with WM1ZI did not find anything with the research tool so I ask : Could anyone connect an external amp (C9 here) with the Sony's?

Hi all
I am in the UK and have been using an imported uncapped Japanese NW-WM1AM2 for the last 11 months - love it. I am going to Australia (Perth) for a long holiday and also on the way back stopping off in Singapore for a few days. Are there any cool hifi or dap shops that I could/should visit? not that I need anything more lol...

Been looking for WM1ZM2 reviews, but apparently there's not many WM1ZM2 reviews out there, not even on headfi, if I'm not mistaken.

This is easily the best audio difference review on YouTube with 1sr Gen & Second Gen comparisons back to back.Been looking for WM1ZM2 reviews, but apparently there's not many WM1ZM2 reviews out there, not even on headfi, if I'm not mistaken.
Auto translation option also available.
A sideline result is demonstrating the bewildering tonal variation of sound signatures offered by various IEMs.

Could you anyone comment on WM1AM2 vs SP2000CU musicality please? I value musicality above all other aspects of sound quality and have owned multiple Sony DAP's which never disappointed me in that regard. I guess I'm itching to try another brand. I tried SP1000CU but didn't find it very engaging. Thank you.
