What made you go from sony to AK? I went the other way from AK to Sony haha.

I was a lifelong AK user and just wanted something different to mix it up.

AK had more sound stage, sony mids were more my liking, I enjoyed both almost equally. The deal breaker for me is during travel and putting AK in pocket...no lock.

In the AK thread many requests asked for them to implement it but nope. Hence they lost a customer/fan.

I love the sony too, but i went to sp3000 because i love the AK tunning too and i wanted to try it out, the overall sp3000 sound in my opinion is more " universal" when iems are used , with the sony and AK the ierz1r played at a very high level on both but the penon 10th for an exemple with sony became a bit slow sounding, with sp3000 is way better, is a question of synergy, both players are excelente, ak has volume lock in the menu

my experience as well
1am2 , on same pairings sounding slow on 1zm2 , sounds quite more ok ..

bass on leaner source always feel more well defined.....just my random thought based on past experience

1am2 is leaner and...bass is not exactly ' well defined ' ..on m9+ which is not a lean source bass has way better texture/definition , then on 1am2

so it depends ..

At end of day can not go wrong with ak daps or sony daps, as previous posts mentioned synergy is key key!

AM2 owner here. Recently having issues with Android file transfer since the last update. Ample free space, but no luck copying files from mac to am2 via Android file transfer or from samsung phone to am2 via file transfer (usb c to c cable). Anyone else having similar issues?

If you have Samsung or any Android platform a good wireless option is install Hiby on both and then transfer all library wireless through it .
Also no problem with USB file transfer from pc here, but i have no mac ..I am sure someone else here will give you hints

In the last few days I have been deleting unnecessary things on my AM 2 and have also had 3 accidents and have only been able to do a factory reset using a key combination. I ended up deleting a lot. 1. Everything suggested by Sonywalkmanuser. 2. Everything suggested by Whitigir. Then I had a link from Sonywalkmanuser, but it wasn't specifically for the AM 2. So there was some risk.
I was really brave and then deleted everything that was left from the list from the Reddit chat. After deleting, I restarted. No problems booting up. Of course I also adopted all the settings from Sonywalkmanuser. What can I say, everything works smoothly. I also think that somehow it sounds better now. But it could also be that I'm imagining it. I'm curious to see what you say. So you can delete everything from the list with peace of mind.
