There's no reason why you couldn't use it with the 2Z/A?a dock like this from Sony would be nice - https://hifigo.com/products/hiby-cr08

i don't think so. the most you can do is to follow the optimization steps mentioned in the forum. Is there any chance in hell the AM2 might undergo a "stealth" upgrade to the CPU to the one found in the ZX707? Users are reporting much improved user experience vs the AM2.
i just need it sound best ... nothing matter. so u can live with the slow cpuIs there any chance in hell the AM2 might undergo a "stealth" upgrade to the CPU to the one found in the ZX707? Users are reporting much improved user experience vs the AM2.
I just checked and mine, bought in Canada, has the option in settings to control High gain output individually on both the 3.5 and 4.4 jacks as well as the option to enable volume limit.Usually, high gain option removed as well as volume cap.
1AM2 & 1ZM2 volume cap only affects UK/EU. With A300 series and ZX700 series they seem to have added US, Canada and Singapore to capping too.
If it's kept high gain then its not capped IMO, though others have said new capping affects US & Canada.I just checked and mine, bought in Canada, has the option in settings to control High gain output individually on both the 3.5 and 4.4 jacks as well as the option to enable volume limit.
I'd like a Sony ecosystem. There's no reason why you couldn't use it with the 2Z/A?
"New" capping in US, Canada and Singapore regards NW-A30x and NW-ZX707 only, not NW-WM1AM2 nor 1ZM2.If it's kept high gain then its not capped IMO, though others have said new capping affects US & Canada.
Oopss... Thought I was answering in ZX707 thread"New" capping in US, Canada and Singapore regards NW-A30x and NW-ZX707 only, not NW-WM1AM2 nor 1ZM2.
Then your choices are only the TAZZY Or the DMPZ1?I'd like a Sony ecosystem.
the placement for the Sony ports are not optimized for this either.
Yep. and those optimization steps make it very good. I haven't noticed any slowness and the UI experience has been good.i don't think so. the most you can do is to follow the optimization steps mentioned in the forum.
Good to know, thanksYep. and those optimization steps make it very good. I haven't noticed any slowness and the UI experience has been good.
Contemplating having my friend in Japan get the 707 for me to replace my Hiby ...
