And isn't it very weak output power for hard driven headphones? Can I drive HD600 with these numbers for example?
Used things, at least from Japan, are worth the bargain they ask for imo. Take the plunge.

I actually just tried this pairing on a lark and wasn't expecting much.. found myself getting pleasantly surprised and am now trying my usual albums.. Dynamic Normaliser pushes volume up a tad more. The WM1ZM2 isn't just pushing volume but it doing it with authority.. I'm shook.. sounds as good if not better than out of 3Max...!

Which USB DAC are you using? I have a Qudelix 5K and to use it with the Sony Music app I need to set it explicitly to 44.1KHz, 48KHz, 96KHz, etc. If I set it to the auto option that automatically chooses 44.1/48/88.2/96KHz then it won't work at all. If I use Tidal or Apple Music then I can set it to the auto option and it will play as expected. This behavior is not what I experienced on my A105, I could just set it to auto and everything would be fine.
I was taking about wm1am2, I figured that out.
Change quality here first if you use windows.

The usual... the 1Z2 isn't twice as good... I only got it because the 1A2 will only come in late August here and I didn't want to wait anymore. Up to individual's finances~

There is no volume Cap on the Japan Version , and you can select English when u set up the walkman , Noteworthy Audio near Toronto told me the new walkmans are backed ordered till the second Quarter of 2023 , if you can get one from Japan Take It ASAP ,
