Nice! When I got my used pair last year the prices were so down I got them for a real steal. Like I haven't seen one even close to that cheap since. I'm talking under $200 cheap. I got my Z7 for under $200 as well. Got real lucky on both of them. I wouldn't take less than $300 for either one right now. And honestly wouldn't even sell them for that.

Damn thats low what a lucky guy hehe.

I had mine preordered at adorama. They held my backorder for 1.5months I gave up and bought a used pair for the same price tssss

Have they come back in stock anywhere as new yet? I hope they release a woody! And I hope it isn't just a flagship. Could you imagine a wood Z7M3? I also want an open back from Sony.

That would be great, wood sound really good!

Z7m3 are not yet near to release I vet hehe.
They have the new mx4 to be released in a few months! So z7m3 definitely not this year!

I heard z7m2 at canjam and said to my self I need to have those ASAP! They are super fun with a nice bass.
Wonder if you have tried them with Kimber kable?

Yep I have the Kimber that I use on both my Z7 and Z7M2. It's a 4.4. I also have the Kimber for my M9! I was positive I heard a difference with the Z7 and M2 with the Kimber. Not so much with this M9 Kimber. I am fully aware of how expectation bias can affect psychoacoustics though. IMO sound differences in cables, DAVs and amps are only legit when you can reliably pick them out in a blind test.

Here on headfi in the classifieds. The Z7M2 was nearly dead about a year ago. Resale and even retail pricing tanked after Zeos released his not so positive review for the Z7M2. They’ve all come back up a bit now. Far as I can tell the Z7M2 is next to impossible to find new the last few months.

They’re available aplenty in Japan

Average is about 52,000 in Japan. Still ok. Weird that demand went up so sudden.

Is the demand for these higher than the MDR-Z1R?

It was mentioned that in a sale in Australia last year the price was AU$489 (you'll have to do the conversion), retail has gone up to AU$1699.
