I just purchased the MDR-7520 and am quite pleased with it as my portable headphone. However, I am not pleased with the coiled cable and would like to purchase the shorter cable that comes with the Z1000. Anyone happen to know where I can purchase this cable? I tried googling and searching the forum, but came up empty. Hope someone can point me to the right direction. Thanks!

So I ended up calling Sony and they wanted $55 per cable. At that rate, I mind as well get an aftermarket silver cable. Anyone happen to where I would be able to get an aftermarket cable for the MDR-7520/MDR-Z1000? I'm looking at HPL right now but having trouble finding the right one to fit my headphones. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So I'm just going to edit my post so it doesn't go to the top. I made the assumption it was some kind of special connector from the headphone to the cable because of the screw in thread. However, it is just a normal 3.5mm male to male cable that is threaded on one end.
