These headphones sound not so wonderful to me (kind of like mush-mush w/ the soundstage sort of mush-mushed together). I did a search on these phones and found very little.

What does everyone else think of these (the MDR v600)? What's the general consensus?

Thanks for any comments/input

Do a search for v600, and you'll find plenty discussing how bad they are.

In the real world, a lot of people love the 600s but those people like Budwieser better than imports, too.

The 1516 Bavarian Purity Act defines the ingredients of Beer as: water, barley, hops, yeast. Budweiser contains rice. Therefore Budweiser isn't beer. Maybe "weak sake" is a better description.

That's pretty funny, and by that definition, we can actually sue Budweiser for misrepresentation! but first we need to show damages, now, where is the damage in that? If we can find it then we can make ourself some money!

I feel that I have been violated by both my experience with the V600 and the Budweiser. Can we somehow prove that the V600 isn't a headphone?

Sure...rumor has it that it's made with rice.

It's not a rumor. Budweiser admits it. Goto budweiser.com=>king of beers=>beer school=>learn online. That's bring you to lesson 1, "Making it: milling".

Quote:

A blend of two-row barley malt, six-row barley malt and rice are used in Budweiser beer.

Yay! I was somewhat right about the fact that the V600 sucked. Well, just wnated a little reasurrance that I was right about that fact that they were bad, and I got more than enough.

I like the sound of my Bang and Olufsen A8's FAR better!!
(Please don't laugh)

I had the impression liking Bang and Olufson more than the V600 was a bit like preferring the taste of Miller Lite to the Budweiser. At some point we've just got to get you some real beer.... er, headphones.
