Sony MDR-SA 5000 on PC ?

Not to divert the thread in anyway, but im somewhat alarmed!

I have ordered the SA-3k, but curious if they will spit my source and amp back in my face.

Av-710 --> PA2V2 --> Sa 3000

I've heard the 710 has a decent DAC...just need some reassurance or some fbrutal truth

The AV-710 does not sound too dandy, but I don't know how big of a difference upgrading it will be for the SA3k's. The PAV2 is not too bad, not bad at all for it's price bracket.

I paid $175, off of audiocubes.com. Way overpriced IMHO, a Micro DAC will totally own it.
