Image icon above... Have SONY headphones and recently tried them on mobile phones... Don't fit... Is there an adapter or some other solution to this? SONY was useless. Hoping for informed guidance.
Like most portable headphones, this headphone (Sony MDRNC8) uses a standard 3.5mm male audio plug.
If it doesn't fit, you might be trying to stick it in the wrong hole, or the mobile phone is faulty (check stereo socket for debris or bent pins).
On some devices, there are rare situations where the plug is able to be inserted deeper than it should.
In this case, try pulling the plug out 1-2mm to check if it makes a good connection.
On many phones, phone-cases can prevent the plug from being inserted deeply enough.
This could also be the problem.
