Can an discman-expert help me with an info: need to know what kind of power supply the D-515 need. I only know 9v DC. Is it 600mA or more ? Is it Center negative or positive ? A Seller of Adapters asked for the exact seize of the pin which connects the adapter with the unit.

Maybe an owner of the D-515 knows the name of the original SONY Adapter.

The seller should know the specs for Sony adapters. Forget him and just buy a used Sony 9v.

The SONY website is offering the official manual, but giving only:

...use only the supplied AC power adaptor or optional SONY AC power adaptor AC-E6M or AC-E90M. Never use any other SONY adaptors BECAUSE THE POLARITY IS OPPOSITE of the conventional adaptors.

...google is showing that the AC-E90M Adaptor cannot used here in Germany, but gives further info: AC 100V, DC9V, DC 600mA, 2m. Does OS: 4,75mm mean what the seller here in Germany asked for: the seize of the pin ? I fished this info from text in japanese language.

...a pic is showing "Polarity of the plug": middle of the pin is showing the "-", on the top of the pin "plus".
