This comes to a comment about your push for HQPlayer. Get a right amp and enjoy NOS playing music as it was mastered in studio. If you insist for upsampling, there is a free PGGB add on to the Foobar 2000. It does the same, with better quality.

I’m interested in this point, are you implying NOS is widely adopted among recording studios? I’d think the majority of studios use more neutral measuring digital equipment (the RME line are all over sampling for example)
not that I think attempting to recreate a studio environment is a worthwhile goal for listening

PGGB add-on for Foobar is a real-time resampler. Quality can be adjusted for the acceptable delay (depends on your CPU speed) which only affect the first track on the playlist.

For streaming, there are system-wide tricks to redirect datastream to the Foobar, but I can't help with details, I don't do streaming.

@kumar402. The add-on for Foobar is free, only need to pay for the offline resampler with the highest quality setting. I tested samples provided for group testing by the author, quality is really good.

I have been using poly-sinc-gauss-long with NS9 and I like that the best, the longer tap filters don't sound as musical to me

I’m using poly sinc gauss xla (apodizing filter) with LNS15. Upsampling upto 384/24 via su6 rj45 i2s.

Enjoying this combo with good old HD650. Sennheiser and ZDS with R2R is a great combo. Dial in some upsampling from HQPLAYER or even from Roon or Audirvana to put some flavor if you want.

this is what I have from Metrum days. You have to match it with Denafrips DDC by altering the LAN cable.

I don’t think it does, none of the settings worked for me unless I was missing something
