I have a Sony Walkman NW-HD5 and just love the old thing.  It has 20G storage, great sound, a replaceable battery, and is damn near bulletproof.  I have had it for about 10 years and do not want to replace it.
My issue is (and always has been) SonicStage.  I would like to use something like Media Player to manage my music.  Does anyone have and experience with this?  If so, please provide some advice and tips-n-tricks.

Thanks!

There's an open source alternative called JSymphonic, I've tried it with my older Walkman E006 (the little USB stick type) and it works with a few hiccups though. They have a list on their website about all the supported models and and missing features related to the model (if any).
