"Ticks and Leeches" by Tool is my go-to bass track. It's also a great test song for soundstaging.

I could probably post half of my library here, but it's all electronic.
Some examples I could come up with that aren't, or aren't "as much" -
Maroon 5 - Makes Me Wonder
Azad ft Cassandra Steen - Eines Tages
The Beatles - Come Together
Sting - Windmills Of Your Mind
The Crystal Method - High Roller (might be too electronic for your tastes)
Daft Punk - Solar Sailer (might also be too electronic; neither of these is dub though)
That's what I could come up with after about 20 minutes of looking and listening. Was starting to get too electronic beyond that.

Anything on the Chick Corea Acoustik Band CD. It's jazz trio, piano, drums, stand-up bass.
Still Harry After All These Years, the Harry James Orchestra. Big Band Jazz... there's a cover of the old "Sanford and Son" theme on there that makes me smile every time I listen to it.
Diane Schuur and the Count Basie Orchestra, "I Got A Touch of Your Love" digs and grooves deep!
I know the OP said nothing electronic, but "Aerodynamic" on Daft Punk's "Discovery" CD has some jaw-dislocating sub bass towards the end of the tune. It's worth a listen, IMO.
