I have Darth V3's on order, what is the worst song in terms of SQ that I can listen to for the first time on my new Darths. I figure if I start out with bad SQ and am impressed then stepping up in SQ should negate the usual phenomenea of getting "used" to the Darth sound. Dumb question I know, but wanted to see if there would be any takers.

any of the Rush remastered CDs, Yuk
Just burn some tracks at a low bitrate MP3, soundcard as source.

Ha! Nice suggestion with the Rush. My friend is a big Rush fan and he told me he almost puked when he heard one of their latest CDs. He let me listen to it and there is an insane level of audible clipping. Also, like kramer stated, just rip a CD to your computer in like 56kbps or something.

Anything from Oasis. Have a listen to "What's the Story? Morning Glory" and be in tears as you'll think your headphones are a piece of crap.

Cam'ron's "Leave You Alone" encoded to 8kbps with a cheap, free encoder.

How's THAT for worst sound quality?

Pretty much any track from Will Oldham's (aka Bonny Prince Billy's) "Master and Everyone"

Acoustic guitar overload. If your cans have any ability to sound honky, that album will make it come out in spades and kick you in the ear.

It's not that it's a bad album, and i like Oldham. But the midbass is way out of control.
