Thats why I asked you to plug all of the power cords from your computer into the same power strip to avoid ground differences. Did you include your monitor and everything with a power cord?

It all was hooked up to the same isobar6 "strip" still caused the ground loop.
 
I will give it another shot with a different strip.

As long as you aren't standing in a bucket of water while turning your amp on & off, you are probably OK eliminating the ground from the amp. I have a Behringer parametric EQ in my home theater that I had to set-up this way. The Behringer manual actually suggested it as a way to eliminate hum. It's been running like that for many years and I haven't burned the neighborhood down (yet). YMMV...

I'd say only 1 in 10 of my electronic devices are grounded. The appliances are, though. This is normal in Denmark so I hope and believe that the risks that this carries are benign.
