Soda or Pop?

I usually drink diet, but sometimes I'll get a bottle of Mexican Coca-Cola; it's made with real sugar instead of HFCS, and, believe me, I can taste the difference.

Any taquería worth its tortillas will have a fridge stocked with Mexican Coke and Pepsi, various Jarritos flavors, Sidral Mundet, and Sangría Señorial... mmmmm.

I call it a soft drink.
My favorite would probably be root beer, yeah, so original. I love Jones.

I drink Diet Coke. It tastes much better than regular and there's also the added benefit that it's healthier. I'll drink regular only if it's from cane sugar.

Wow, that's news to me. So drinking something loaded with poison aspartame and zero nutritional benefit is healthy!?? Since when?

Same here. It's all called "coke". I hate to be a party pooper but here goes:

I always have and always will refer to it as pop (in spoken conversation at least). Of course, everyone I've met so far in PA refers to it as soda, so when I say pop everyone looks at me like I'm nuts.
