As said earlier, depends on what you call non-cheap... But for me it started with my Sennheiser Momentum On-Ears, quickly followed by my Grado SR325's.
So my first "non-cheapo" cans were....

Fischer FA-011 were my first non cheap cans - followed shortly by DT770s.
