So I lost my Monster Turbines

I loved these things man. Where can I get something like them for cheaper? Doesn't even have to be IEM.

We wouldn't be able to find an exact signature match, but do describe the particular characteristics you found intriguing on the Turbines so that we could specify on that.

I really liked how they didn't leak bad. I don't really know how to describe the sound but it's kinda bassy and I can hear everything in the music. This is dubstep and hip hop btw. The older sorts.

if you really love them, just get another pair of them seriously. no other iem or headphone would sound exactly the same like them.

If I could just get another pair I would but I don't work. I am 16 years old. Plus they went up from when I bought them. I'm thinking of one of the phillips citiscape headphones. Uptown or downtown.

Going to assume a bass-heavy and decent separation/coherent presentation is what you're looking for then.

Find the Uptowns to be more towards that sort of sig as the Downtowns are actually a tad bit more balanced to these ears. Also the K618 (I don't remember the pricing previously on the Turbines so just in case, a heads-up on the cheaper but similarly sig-ed and stylized K518LEs).

Yup. Counterfeits have probably improved in quality since then, meaning it would be even harder to tell the difference between real and fake now.

I would be wary of European and North American sellers on eBay as well. There are quite a few people buying counterfeit Monster Turbine earphones in bulk from Asia.

The example shows the MTPC, not the original Turbines. But the point still stands.

Maybe I should just get my earpollution moguls repaired and use those unless there is some headphone that doesn't leak for around $40, cuz those leak pretty bad. I usually listen to music around 40 to 60%, just for you to get an idea of the amount of leakage im talking about.

if isolation is a must and you want iems, get etymotic research but etymotic research definitely does not have bassy sound signature, rather its a bit on the light side on the bass.

Leakage is my main thing. Portability is second. My budget is under 90  USD. I won't be getting another pair of turbines unless they go back down to 70~. The philips downtowns are looking like the way to go but is there something else that sounds similar with a detatchable cable? They can be any type of headphones. Playing 256-320 kbs music through an iPod.
