Sound wise, they sound fantastic, a bit different than I'm used to, but I like them thus far, though I've only listened to them for an hour or two. They sounded a bit weird, not bad, just odd, and I think I figured out why.

When I removed them from my ears and looked at them, I noticed that I was apparently wearing them backwards, ie L on Right Ear, and R on Left Ear. However, looking at them, there's no possible way to wear them the way it states to on the IEMs. If I put the Left in my Left ear, it's upside down (The UE logo) as well as the wire hangs down, and above all it's grossly uncomfortable.

And when I tested it with some songs, sure enough the logos were correct in regards to Left/Right, however they are very wrong in regards to how they 'should' be.

Is this... normal? Something I can get a refund/exchange for? I just bought them from Amazon and received them today, but it's very definitely not right.

Maybe I'm wrong, but they very much seem backwards to me :frowning2:

It is, but if I wear it as shown in that picture, then I'm wearing them backwards. It's impossible to have the one labeled L in my Left Ear and the one labeled R in my Right Ear.

Were they new? Its very common for users to put the right cable in the left earpiece and vice versa because it fits much better (flip mod). Just put the right cable (connected to the left earpiece) into your right ear with the cable up and vice versa.
