Wow. I just got back from digging my car out. The snow was up to the windows (on a suburban). This is a lot of snow. We got an easy 24" here in Northern Virginia. I guess it is a good day for listening to music.

Not surprisingly, Raleigh just got ice instead of snow.

One small irony, Presidents day is usually a no school day, but this year they scheduled it as a make up day for last month's snow day.

We do have some decent east coast skiing here in VA, but there is no way to get there. I-81 was shut down last night, and front royal got over 4 ft of snow.

Heh...pansies the lot of you. I live in the coldest capital and most often the coldest place on earth. Snow? That's what are our houses are made of, we have so much of it...

Canada...winter was born here and never frickin' left.

Here in the Northwest it has been way too warm and we are looking at not having enough water for irrigation this summer.

I was a young'n at the time, but I remember it well. Now that was crazy!!!

This is about the time of year that I threaten to move to AZ (or some place else warm). If not for my family, I would have long ago (can you tell I am not a winter/snow person?). Actually if my company does not step up with a job promotion this year, moving is a very real possibility later on.
