Hi, I have a SMSL sanskrit 6th edition and it seems to have shielding issues that affect my sound. it doesnt always happen, but its very annoying when it does. sometimes it sounds like a bandpass/combing effect, sometimes left/right channel cuts off, and almost always when its doing this, it shuts off when i physically touch it.. I notice it doesnt have a ground and im wondering if that plays into it, im not an electrical engineer lol, but as a total electrical noob i would think a ground would help dissipate some of the accumulated static in the device. I work in manufacturing plastics so i usually bring a lot of static into my room from work. is there something i can do to help shield it, or would it be worth switching to something like the schiit bifrost which does have a ground. would the modi 2 uber have the same problems?
