Don't the I7/D2 have an enormous battery life to start with? I know they take a bit of a hit...but what would it realistically be if you play only FLAC?

The smallest FLAC player is actually the iaudio U5. Its about the same size as the ipod nano 2G and its considered a budget player by cowons standards and prices.

iaudio 7 is small but thick and clumsy.

I believe meizu doesnt support FLAC... I just checked and they do not.

They do support FLAC, APE and WMA lossless

Cowon iAudio U3. Tiny, reasonably powerful, and has terrific battery life. Durable, too.

I'm selling my 4GB model.

The Sandisk Sansa Clip has been out for a couple of years but it is pretty small, will play FLAC and OGG, and has decent sound considering the 4GB version can be found for around $50. It's very light, and the clip is actually usefull for active use.

I have MeizuM6 - it plays FLAC,I have also SansaClip+,which is much smaller,
the smallest player,I know - it plays FLAC as well and it has memory slot,giving you 24G capacity.You can hide it in your ear or elsewere .

Buy the 8GB version and add a 32GB card and you have a 40GB player the size of a matchbox.

I am seriously considering ordering one but I have heard the battery only lasts 4 hours when you play FLAC. Can someone confirm this?

4 to 6 hours. When external card is used, it is on the lower side. By the way, my listening volume is lower than many, 3 to 5 clicks.

Thanks! I suppose 4 -6 hours isn't that bad for a player of this size.

I'm guessing it will get more play time if I use 128kps MP3's.

Question and I don't want to highjack the thread but can a Nano be rockboxed and can it be done on a mac or does it have to be a window pc. Would it make any difference in sq thru an LOD and Rockbox. Pros - Cons.
