So, I'm looking for a porta-amp and I want it to be rather small. The smaller the better, really. I will also be using it at home, to power DT880's, but on-the-go, my upcoming UE-11's will want some Juice from it. Now, I'm a fairly balanced listener and I'd be happy with a neutral, yet juicy and involving amp, but it doesn't have to overpower anything. At home, it'll be used with a Jui@, on-the-go it'll get most use with a Zune.

Oh, and I'd rather not pay more than $250, it's madness as it is.

Try to track down a Xin SuperMini.

Mini3s are many things, but small isn't one of them.

is headsix small for your standard?
i used dt990 250ohm and headsix together for about 6-7 months, and the sound was great. boa was a nono for dt990. pico was superb but its price is out of your range.

ditto on the mini3.

Does a surprisingly good job with the dt880, k701 and hd 650's ive thrown at em.

HAvent tried them with iems though, to see if it provides a black wnough background with no hiss for sensitive iems such as the triple fis

It is not a supermicro (that you cannot purchase anyway), but it is not big...

I'll look into the Mini3. Sounds like an affordable and well-playing amp.

It's not too big, but I wish it were thinner. Ah well, maybe a Fiio will help the UE-11's.

iBasso is releasing a T3 in a month or so. Not much is known about it, except that it will retain the small footprint and relative sleek profile of the T1 & T2.

I'm looking for something small to power my UE-11 as well, but will wait for the T3. Wasn't impressed with the T2 in terms of neutrality or clarity. Rumor has it the T3 is supposed to be thicker than the T2 to accommodate bigger caps, and wonder if it will have more battery power and more juice.

The Mini3 seems like a viable option o me. I'm not in the mood to wait for months so I'm strongly considering one right now. Which one of the sellers the AMB page mentions is probably the best?
