A question for anyone who has one, do you have a little hiss/static? I can't notice it when music is playing, but when I'm just browsing I hear a bit of a hiss. David over at Little-Tube said that since I bought it from an unauthorized dealer that I probably got a "B stock or damaged good", which doesn't really make sense to me but whatever. He was telling me to send it back, which I doubt I'll do because everything else is fine. Just not very cool putting doubts in me now.

What amp are we talking here? Many tube amps, and sometime small SS amp, can have floor noise which can be picked up by sensitive, easy to drive headphone. SS amps usually have better SNR so floor noise is mostly undetectable by ears.

ah that makes sense and yes X2 on sensitive iem's picking up hiss

I'm also a bit confused because someone deleted my topic over at Little-tube where I inquired about this very thing... I didn't even get to reply once David told me about the whole "b stock/damaged" thing and someone deleted it.
