Saw these in stores today* and the price's not too bad (the deals are even better online, as usual).

I did a quick head-fi search and didn't find anything about them in these magical realms Has anyone heard these? They look like a relative of the PL30 (if not a direct rebrand), is that the case, like some of the other Skullcandies?

*I'm on vacation, hasten to stress, and couldn't pick up a pair to hear for myself because I'm experiencing a shortage of funds

Probably because Skullcandy is considered rubbish on here. Interestingly, I saw my first pair of Skullcandy in Japan today. They had been hung on the headphone rack in one of the electronics stores, but don't yet have a price tag or blurb. They look absolutely terrible in the flesh, more so than on their web site.

They don't look anything like the PL30s in person so no, no rebrand.

i think skullcandy looks like crap, they're all fancy looking but look cheap as chip & they're not cheap too
