Everyone here would recommend you to not buy the skullcandy...

You didn't state your budget, what you are going to use the headphones for, and obviously haven't even done a cursory search.

The time I took to type that seems about the amount of time that it is worth dedicating to this thread given the above.

He means for portable use, or home use, how important is isolation for noisy environments, etc. I'd say welcome to Head-fi, but I tend to avoid saying what I don't mean.

don't go with either of those. px100 will stop skullcandies and i haven't heard any v-moda cans.

edit:
100 dollars allows for a ton of options actually.
Is there any form factor you want? (headband, earbud, behind the neck, etc)
Where specifically will you listen? (portable rig, home rig, work rig, multi-use)
What noise environments do you anticipate? (subway, train, library, etc)
Do you want an amp?
What are you listening out of?
What kind of listening are you going to do? (gaming, movies, music)

edit again:
lurk moar

OK, here's what you're going to do:
1. Go to Amazon.com and search for "KSC75"
2. Click "add to cart"
3. Spend the $14 with free shipping
4. Thank me later
