Got the Liquid Spark setup listened to it for little bit. The break in time is 100 hrs so far it's a great setup and really like it a lot. I'm sure it will only get better with more time on it. I appreciate the help I have gotten along with the suggestions. . Looking forward to some good music and the new "Dune" movie. Just need to look for a hp stand that is fairly inexpensive.

So where does the volume pot end up with which gain you find best with the Aiyima T2 3 EQ knob model? Have you tried shifting the EQ knobs, yet? Does the T60rp work with all of the genres that you prefer? Maybe you will need a small block leg to put the T2 on the top of this base and the LS below the base, but this stand on AE for $14 looks pretty good:

I couldn't figure out why it wasn't getting enough volume. Turns out my volume on my phone was turned down. I have the gain at 2 o'clock on the T2 and LS at the same. So three ways to adjust. Still messing around with that.

Yes, I love those. I have the base up at 1 and highs at 1 o'clock . These settings are when I am listening to EDM. So I don't think I have adjusted it way out of wack which I like.

Does the T60rp work with all of the genres that you prefer?

Classical and jazz are spot on and so is Metallica "Justice for all". I would say they are pretty well rounded for what I use them for. I don't think it can get any better.

Huge bummer, listening to Sade and I thought my hp right side was cutting out. Tracked it down to the wire going into the right hp. There is a short in the wire. Chatted with Digital DJ Gear on their website. They emailed out return label me with in 30 minutes or so. They will be sending out out a replacement soon as I send them a pic of shipping label from UPS store. I have to say great customer service so far. Just little worried about getting a set that rattles in the lower htz. But I think they fixed that issue.

Update, got the replacements seemed fine until I did the 40hz test. Right side rattled. Thought it was me swapped sides and it followed. Waiting to hear back. Love the headphones but seems I am getting short stick. So thinking my next option is try one more time or get a refund and get the Dekoni Blues.
What are your guys thoughts?

Go ahead and get the Dekoni Blue, as I was afraid that your situation was going to happen with refurbished products in the first place. Even before 2020, this was always a concern, but it I think that it will just be more of the same with items that go through this process.

There should be a little less warmth and brightness from the absence of wood ear cups, but overall there should not be a huge sound difference, especially with your liquid spark and aiyima t2 v2 tube pre-amp. Basically, I think that the T60rp is basically a T50rp with a balanced 3.5mm trrs plug, upgraded headband, tuning mods, and wood ear cups. The Dekoni Blue will already have two of those four upgrades covered.

So I just checked prices and Amazon has the Dekoni Blue brand-new for $219.99 (sold by Digital DJ Gear, but has the Amazon return support as well) and Dekoni is $249.99, so the Amazon price is best:

Also, a Mod House Audio suspension headband that you can add with a few screws, just remember that the Dekoni Blue is based off the mk3 model:

Lastly, get some scotch tape to cut into tiny square-inch pieces to roll up to 1/3" pieces and tuck under the ear pad edges and all-around to seal the bass:

So if you want more bass from your Dekoni Blue, then take off the ear pads and find the 8 vents surrounding the driver and baffle, which are one of the pictures in this review:

Then, just take some scotch tape and cover all of these vents and patiently with care put the ear pads back onto the ear cup. Repeat for the other side. This should seal up the front for more bass.

Looking at Monoprice M1060C. Seems I would be able to get the best of closed back and open. Dekoni still on the table.

Also, consider the Hifiman HE-R9 with dynamic drivers (more likely stable with use over time than planar-magnetic drivers) and ear cups shaped like the legendary Sony MDR-R10 wood cups that was released for $700, but now $200 and said by many to be a great bang-for-the-buck at this price and would be extremely comfortable with this headband cover:

Yeah I was originally looking at those because they are close back. I'm finding that the T60RP Are leaking more than I would like. My usage time has been 9:30- 11:30pm at night so disturbing my other half . Last night I was listening to Van Halen self titled from 1978. Pretty amazing and I'm rediscovering all my old bands . With that I'm definitely leaning towards closed back this round.

It's still there when I tested it again. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't hearing things. It's still on the right side. At lower levels you can't hear it but above mid level it starts to creep in. I talked to DDG and they are going to RMA them on Tuesday when they get back from this week's NAMM.
On page 14 of 94 on the 1060C thread seems most V1 one problems have been resolved with V2. I really like Planars though best thing I have heard so far.
