Singxer SU-2

Hey there, thank you for the excellent run down of the mods you made to your Singxer SU-2. Would you be able to advise if using the regular NVE IL711-3E (110MHz) isolators is sufficient or one must use the speedy IL711S-3E (150MHz) model specifically?

The original part in my SU-2 was specified at 150MHz.
110MHz may be marginal if you intend to use the higher sampling rates (1536k/DSD1024)

Thanks mate, I think you are right. The original part is 150MHz indeed. Will order the correct part.

Anyone using su-2 over the su-6?
There is also a kitsune su-2..
I have the su-6 and thinking of trying another ddc for a secondary setup. Either su-2 or I suppose denafrips iris.

A buddy of mine uses the SU-2 and really likes it says it punches way above its price. For a secondary setup, it could be a great pick. He hasn’t tried the Iris, though, so can’t compare directly.

ah.. thanks for replying. my post is a few years old tho.. since then, I sold my su6, also tried the denafrips hermes, and ultimately ended up no longer using a ddc. I did enjoy the su6 when I had it and will recommend it if anyone was in the market for a ddc.
