I got a Gustard R26 and I prefer the overall sound signature of it.

They both have their qualities. In my opinion sda-6 sounds great out-of-the box, is less sensitive for (usb) noise but has a more ‘polite’ less ‘dynamic’ sound compared to the R26.
I keep both, in my opinion sda-6 is better for dsd and I prefere R26 for (upsampled) pcm.
It would be interesting to see how sda-6 compares to A26 as they both share the same ‘velvet-sound’ AKM-dna.

roderickvd, of course, installed the latest version from the official website - 5.50 (screenshot: 4.png), the same 16 and 24 bit.

Maybe it depends on the driver version? I have the latest version installed at the moment - 5.50

Updated. It became at least no worse.
