Sorry, not to burst anyone's bubble, but SinglePower has been advertising in Stereophile for a few months now. I think this month's or last month's was the first time they did the ad in color though.

$9000! OUCH! That'll leave a mark...a big 'un!!

You need to keep one kidney, the 1/2 a liver should be no problem. You may want to consider a cornea or perhaps a lung or just sell the Moth.

There's the balanced Supra option for much less.
About 4 or 5 times less.

don't know about the new "monster" amps, but my simple little ppx3 that i picked up several months ago is serving me wonderfully. terrific match with senn 650's.

Stax made an all tube fully balanced electrostatic

and balanced output.

ALL electrostatic amps are balanced output.
Including the he90 which is also tubes. It has
an unbalanced input however.

As far as dynamic amplifiers, atmasphere has
been making fully balanced input and output
all tube amplifiers for at least 25 years. Their
30 watt unit works absolutely fantastic as
a headphone amplifier.

This is true, and was in the Manufacturer's Showcase exhibiting the Maestro, as a quarter page add...
instead a half page add showing the SDS XLR and the rest of the SinglePower line in a 4 color add.

There is also a review on the Channel Islands Audio VHP-1 Headphone amp and power supply, which uses the X-Cans V3 and Ray Samuels SR-71 for comparisons. And previous months have had headphone amp reviews.
It's good to see the Audiophile industry recognizing headphones and their amps.
