Even though the Er-4SR is my favorite single BA out there I recall how "energetic" the FAD Heaven 2 sounded while still somewhat neutral. The mid range had decent "body" and more colored than my er4.

I do most of my listening through a 4.4mm balanced jack and the old Heaven 2s don't have interchangable cables.

It is the only Final Audio Design iem I've listened to so far. It's bullet style form factor isn't that common either.

It's been a LONG time since it's release so I'm wondering if there are any sub $400 single-driver iems nowadays that share a similar sound signature (balanced yet exciting)? I listen to Alternative and Progressive Rock

Thank you 😁🎧

The original 7hz Timeless is a sure thing for fun. The AE version has bass I didn't like, sounded less crisp). Also the Tanchjim Hannah or Seeaudio Yume 2 (the ultra isn't worth paying extra for) are also really fun.
Those are all ones I've had and would easily get again. Using a Hifiman Edition XS these days for convenience. For wireless I use the Sennheiser Momentum 3 and just great tuning out of the box.

Thanks for sharing. I do remember reading about the 7hz AE model that wasn't liked as much. Same with the Letshuor S12 Pro? The closest thing to those I use would be my Fiio FP3.

They definitely have a larger form factor thanks to their Planars drivers.

I'll check out the others you mentioned.
