SINGAPORE:- Apart from JABEN in Singapore, can anyone suggest some other stores to visit for good IEM selection?

Hi,

I'll be in Sing for a few days in early April. I will head along to Adelphi and visit the Jaben store, but just wondering if there are any other good / great stores in Sing to visit?

I will be staying in the Orchard Road area ( Close, Bencoolen St) and very familiar with the MRT system.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or help offered.

Cheers :)

Hi! You can check out the 2 Stereo outlets. Both are in Town. One at Ion shopping centre, the other at Plaza Singapura shopping centre. The other shop would be E1 at Far East Shopping Centre (NOT Far East Plaza). These are pretty much it in SG.

Each of them carry slightly different things from one another. Of note would be UM at Stereo and Vision Ears at E1.

Try googling the addresses. If you can't find it, let me know. Have fun!

E1 Personal also carries 1964 ears and DITA. But if you're more into Cans i suggest Stereo.

Thanks for the replies.

I only have 3 days in Sing, so Custom's are off the menu...as are Cans as I'm traveling at the moment and don't have the room in my Pack.

Strictly Universal IEM's for this trip :).....would Jaben still be the best place to go?

I would recommend you go to Stereo at Plaza Sing or ION. IIRC, ION is open during chinese new year. Their customer service is top notch!

I do not know the opening hours of Soundwaves but i think they're either closed or will close early during this CNY season.

Thanks once again for all your help - much appreciated.

I am going to be very busy in Singapore. The actual purpose of my trip is to "Gear-Up" for my trekking trip to Nepal :), but just thought I would take a look at what is available in Sing. Honestly, I can probably only afford half a day to check out IEM's in Sing.

I'm staying on Bencoolen St if that helps out??

I'm traveling with my UERM's and was thinking of getting something to compliment them.....I know it will be impossible to find something under $250 USD to compare.....any suggestions would be greatly received. Balanced with a variety of tips to get a good seal is essential!

Thanks once again.
