, well Jazz, I don't know if you have realized yet but you keep wanting to BELIEVE in those changes. They are just in your mind! It looks as if after all the money you have spent on cables, realizing the truth is hard to swallow.

Do you really think so? I haven't just spent money, but also sacrificed thousands of hours for making my own cables. You may understand that it's too much asked for to now simply abandon my belief.

Now you are giving another excuse to the results saying like "ok, they were only 44.1KHz", if they were 96kHz then it must be that". I believe if you do it again, no audible difference will be found, so the last option would be trying 192 kHz, and after that trying to find another excuse...

Yes, I will continue finding excuses, because my belief is stronger than my intellect. More precisely: my faith in what I perceive. You know me: I don't have the least qualms when it comes to trespass borderlines of physical impossibility in favor of my listening experiences. Everything else would be unscientific.

As I said before you do have quite the knack for summing up the believers' creed.

Yeah, and I understand your reasons not to abandon your relief. And I am not forcing you to do so.

Yeah, for what we talked I know how you think, and respect your way of thinking, but I don't follow it. If you are happy like that then that is all good

, but others might not be talking it from your point of view.

Happy listening

We all live according to our beliefs. Even those of us who proclaim a so-called objective viewpoint. Ever notice how adamant we all are? Or, how we are all eager to impose our point-of-view as the gospel?
