I am looking for something new that sounds different to my IEMs, and these are at modest sale right now. Looks like the reviews lean toward EA500, but I never heard a BA (nor a hybrid) IEM before and that's why I'm curious about the Hexa.
So which one would you buy for yourself?

I owned the Hexa and found it to have an excellent tuning leaning toward a neutral SQ. I have heard many IEMs costing hundreds more that were not as tonally accurate and lifelike. I have not heard the EA500 so I cannot make a comparison.

Have both and I prefer HEXA from technical standpoint as well as uncolored neutrality to my HRTF.

EA500 is tuned to sound beautiful but definitely not colorless, so it will have good tracks and bad tracks.

Simgot ea500! It's unreal. Running red nozzle with 500 mesh filter & hybrid cable. All I can say is wow! Amazon has $10 off coupon right now too. So cheaper than Hexa. I haven't heard the Hexa but own many good iem's.

I haven’t heard either. Their tuning based on reviews seem to target other listeners. After I got the Jade JD7 late last year I slammed the brakes on sub $100 USD purchases. They are that good.

And now we have the 7Hz Legato gathering passengers for its train. I’m seriously considering buying a ticket for that ride.

JD7 has a good looking graph. Would love to try this one too lol
